After harassing a woman at a party in Bettendorf and behaving inappropriately, an intoxicated man was detained by police at around 2.30am on Sunday. He was taken to the police station and held there overnight.
Several burglaries or attempted break-ins have once again been reported across the country. Burglars attempted to break into a home on Rue de la Gare in Belvaux but failed to break the patio door on Saturday evening.
However, in Limpach, on Rue du Ruissau, the intruders were more successful. In the early afternoon, they entered a house through a window and stole some jewellery. Advice on how to protect yourself against burglars can be found on the police website.
