
The first incident was reported near a café on Grand-Rue in Ettelbruck, with a man allegedly harassing clients. Although he was initially cooperative when the police asked him to stop, he turned aggressive shortly thereafter. Given his intoxicated state, he was taken into custody to sober up.
A physical quarrel later broke out in a café on Place de la Libération in Diekirch. Once police arrived, the people involved were quickly identified, as one of the men was said to have assaulted the other. The victim was treated on the spot and the perpetrator was taken into custody after a medical consultation due to his heavy intoxication. The report also reads that the man was extremely uncooperative.
