An intoxicated motorist was arrested by the Grand Ducal police in Mertert on Sunday night. According to the police report, she failed to give way to a police vehicle at a roundabout. The patrol concerned therefore arrested the woman, who had clearly been drinking. After confirming this with an alcohol test, the police withdrew her licence.
Three other licences were withdrawn on Sunday evening in Luxembourg. The first was in Hollerich following an accident involving a drunk driver. The second was on the A4 motorway, where the driver had attracted the attention of the police by driving in zigzags. Lastly, in Leudelange, a repeat offender was arrested by the police following his suspicious driving.
