RTL Today
During the week from 18 to 24 January, 843 people tested positive for the coronavirus, 16 fewer cases than in the week before.

This means that there was a decline of almost 2% over the course of the week. An average of 120 people got infected with Covid-19 per day. Nine people died over the same period of time.

Same as last week, the positivity rate in the Large Scale Testing saw a rise to 0.43%, compared to 0.29% seven days earlier.

Experts warned that two weeks after the countries schools and businesses reopened, an infection spike was to be expected. The coming days will show whether or not this will happen.
