
Emergency services were called out to a series of fires between Sunday and Monday.
Shortly before 4am on Monday, a fire broke out in an industrial building on Rue Gadderscheier in Soleuvre. Firefighters from the Sanem-Differdange, Pétange, and Käerjeng rescue centres were deployed to extinguish the blaze. Ambulance crews from the Sanem-Differdange rescue centre were also at the scene, although no one was injured in the fire.
Among other incidents, vegetation, a container, a rubbish bin, and a railway track caught fire. There was also a house fire on Boulevard Kennedy in Esch-sur-Alzette.
The CGDIS also reported an accident at around 7.40pm on Sunday on the CR157 between Alzingen and Roeser. A motorcyclist fell but was not injured. Firefighters from Hesperange and ambulance crews from Mamer attended the scene.
