
An individual who had been released from detention was rearrested on Tuesday after threatening and physically assaulting police officers during the release process.
According to police reports, the incident occurred in Luxembourg City at around 2.30pm on 7 July, as the person was being released from custody. The individual allegedly kicked out wildly and struck one officer in the leg. They are also reported to have spat in the face of another officer, as well as insulted and threatened the officers on site.
The police informed the public prosecutor's office and proceeded to arrest the individual. On Wednesday, the person was brought before an examining magistrate.
