An incident in Heisdorf caused delays and cancellations for trains headed North on Thursday evening.
On its website, Luxembourg rail company CFL warned that delays and cancellations were to be expected early on Thursday evening on trains running north.
The CFL flagged in the evening that disruption was expected on the line from Luxembourg City via Ettelbruck to Gouvy and Diekirch. The exact nature of the issue was not specified.
According to RTL information, numerous sirens could be heard in the vicinity of Heisdorf station, with a train stopped not far from the platform. The train resumed its journey at around 9.30pm. Further details were not available at the time.
