A yellow weather alert was already sent out for Tuesday in Luxembourg, and Wednesday is no different.
Temperatures are hovering around -5°C on Wednesday morning, expected to climb ever so slightly to -2°C in the late afternoon and early evening, weather agency Meteolux reports.
Road conditions are icy, so traffic users are warned to take it slow and pay extra attention.
A few flakes of snow are expected on Wednesday too.
Looking ahead at Thursday, temperatures are dropping even further to -8°C in the morning. This is accompanied by a breeze of 10-20km/h, definitely making the cold sensation more uncomfortable.
The weekend remains freezing too, with similar temperatures, but a return to above zero temperatures is expected early next week.
