The Ministry currently plans on allowing boar hunts to take place at different times in an attempt to simplify and support the work of hunters. Minister Welfring described both factions as “allies for nature”.

Federation president Jo Studer praised the politician in return for showing up and participating in the general assembly: “You listen and are willing to join us on our raised hides to learn more about the hunt.”

Minister Welfring commented that there should not be any taboo subjects between government, nature administration, and hunters. Even if the parties do not always agree on every detail, it should be possible to take a pragmatic approach, she noted.

A new meeting between the aforementioned parties is planned for 30 June. The schedule of boar hunts will be the main focus of the encounter.
