Meteolux forecasts are clear - this weekend will see temperatures considerably higher than one would expect for the month of October in Luxembourg. We can expect temperatures peaking between 21 and 23 °C on Saturday, and somewhere around 20-22 °C on Sunday.

That’s considerably higher than the average recorded for the month in a period spanning 1991 to 2020, which say at 9.9 °C - but also a fair bit below the record set in 2011, when temperatures hit a highly unusual 26 °C.

Monday will see the beginning of autumnal weather, as clouds promising a light rain roll in across our skies. Temperatures will still hit a warm 19 °C, with similar conditions but a lower peak of 17 °C on Tuesday. Come Wednesday, however, the mercury will drop to 13 °C, bringing us more in line with what you would expect for this time of year, while remaining mild.
