A big portion of hospital personnel has to stay home due to testing positive themselves, or because they were in contact with an infected individual.
The hospital will need to internally reorganise to make up for these absent workers. The ChdN still permits visits, but they should register to facilitate tracing if needed. 30 additional beds were added through reactivating a station solely for Covid-patients.
The situation is tense in hospitals. The ChdN issued an appeal for people to schedule visits online and to only come in for emergencies. Since spring 2020, the hospital has clearly separated Covid and non-Covid patients. The ChdN reports that this triage is working very well and people do not need to be concerned if they need to come in.
