Shortly before midnight on Sunday, a man approached a motorist at a petrol station in Rombach-Martelange and asked for a ride home. He offered to pay for the trip and the motorist accepted.
During the ride, the stranger suddenly threatened the driver with a knife and started to hit him. He then stole the victim’s phone, cash, other valuables, and even clothes.
The motorist has since filed a complaint with the police, who have opened an investigation.
