Three categories and people's choice awardHere are the winners of the Luxembourg Book Awards 2022

RTL Today
Every year, the Luxembourg Book Awards celebrates the best books in three categories and also feature a people's choice award.

For each category (Children and Young Adolescents, non-fiction, and fiction), five books were on the shortlists.

The jury of the Luxembourg Book Awards 2022 – Nicole Sahl (National Centre for Literature), Jemp Schuster (author), Hélène Dom (Agence Repères), Jeff Thill (bookshop owner), and Mylène Branco (Uni.lu) – chose their five favourites from a total of 66 books in the categories fiction, children’s / YA book, and non-fiction.

These shortlists were presented during a press conference in early October. The winners of the different categories were announced during a ceremony at Centre Prince Henri in Walferdange. Besides the three winners selected by the jury, there was also a people’s choice award. Members of the public were asked to vote for their favourite book out of the 15 nominees across all three categories.
