The Green Party will see another change in the Luxembourg City municipal council after announcing the resignation of Linda Gaasch, effective 31 January, for personal reasons. The announcement was made in a press release on Sunday.
Fabricio Costa, former co-spokesperson of the Greens’ youth wing and co-lead candidate in the last European elections, will replace the 37-year-old opposition councillor. Linda Gaasch has represented the Greens on the Luxembourg City municipal council since 2019.

Liudumila Vanira Branca had already replaced Claudie Reyland in September. The Greens currently hold five of the 27 seats on the Luxembourg City municipal council.
