
While Gloden did not disclose specifics, he stated that the strategy would blend preventive and repressive measures. The initiative is being coordinated with the Ministries of Health, Family, and Justice, along with the City of Luxembourg.
The proposed measures will first be discussed with those affected in the district before being presented in Parliament.
Gloden’s remarks came in response to LSAP parliamentary group leader Taina Bofferding, who had inquired about participation in the ‘Drug Roundtable 2.0’ and the measures under consideration.
