On MondayGostingen fire and Moesdorf accident prompt swift emergency response

Emergency responders in Luxembourg were kept busy on Monday, addressing a rubbish fire in Gostingen and a collision between a car and a cyclist near Moesdorf, which left one person injured.

The Flaxweiler emergency response centre was alerted shortly after midday on Monday to rubbish that had caught fire in Gostingen. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), no one was injured in this incident.

Emergency services also reported an accident between Moesdorf and Beringen at around 2.20pm. One person sustained injuries in a collision between a car and a cyclist. Emergency responders from Lintgen and Mersch were on the scene to provide assistance.
