According to the Luxemburger Wort, Goedert’s premises at No 80 have undergone closure, a development observed on-site by our colleagues from RTL Infos. A single poster is taped to the front door, suggesting that the managers have simply taken leave. This is clearly not the case, given that the establishment has been closed for several weeks.
Operated by Paul Faber, the Goedert butcher’s shop faced operational challenges in recent times, particularly in sourcing qualified staff, ultimately leading to its closure. However, according to the Wort, Faber will maintain his other butcher’s shop in Capellen.
