Prices fell slightly in Luxembourg during November, with food costs in particular seeing moderate decreases compared to the previous month, according to figures released by STATEC.

The most significant declines were recorded for fresh fruit (–3.5%), dried meat (–0.8%), olive oil (–1.3%), and spirits and liqueurs (–5.0%). However, some items became more expensive: beef and veal rose by 2.2%, pork by 4.3%, and fresh vegetables by 1.3%.

Motorists, on the other hand, are facing higher prices at the pump. Over the past month, diesel prices increased by 5% and petrol by 1.6%.

Despite these variations, the annual rate of inflation continues to slow, with prices up 2.7% year-on-year, compared to 3% previously. STATEC continues to forecast the next indexation for the third quarter of 2026.
