We're looking at a partially cloudy day with occasional sunshine from the morning right through the afternoon, and indeed evening - though replace sunshine with moonshine (not the illicit kind) for that last bit.

The morning will start off at around 3-6 °C, rising to 11-14 °C in the afternoon, then dropping to 8-12 °C in the evening.

Traffic checks

The police have announced the following checks for this Friday:

Two in the morning:

• Rue de Luxembourg in Roedgen;
• Rue Basse in Steinsel.

And two in the afternoon:

• N7 in Heinerscheid;
• Rue de l'Egalite in Luxembourg City
