A video circulating on social media this week shows half a dozen people climbing out of a truck which had stopped on the hard shoulder near Dudelange on its way to France.
A similar event occurred on Wednesday morning before 10 am, when several individuals got out of a trailer parked on Aire de Capellen. Police could intercept half a dozen people, and confirmed the events to RTL.
According to a police spokesperson, these cases have become increasingly frequent in the last months. Most often the asylum seekers are from African or Middle Eastern origin with the UK as their destination.
