Françoise Kemp, MP, Dudelange municipal councillor, and co-general secretary of the CSV, aged 34, was elected as the new president of the party’s southern district on Monday evening at the congress in Differdange, securing around 97% of the vote. She takes over from the outgoing president, Kehlen councillor Guy Breden. There was no opposing candidate.
In addition to her new role, Kemp currently serves as co-general secretary of the CSV alongside fellow MP Alex Donnersbach. It is not yet known whether she will remain in that position.
