
Several road accidents and a house fire kept emergency services busy on Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported an accident on Tuesday shortly after 2.30am on the road between Mensdorf and Roodt-sur-Syre.
A car overturned at the scene. One person was injured and was treated by emergency teams from Niederanven-Schuttrange, Echternach, and Findel, as well as the Luxembourg City Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU).
Emergency services also reported that two cars collided between Dippach and Holzem at around 5.40pm on Monday. One person was injured.
Just a few minutes later, another accident occurred on the A7 between Mersch and the Mersch tunnel. A motorist crashed their vehicle into a wall. Two people were injured in the accident.
On Monday evening at around 7.30pm, a fire broke out in a house in Howald. Firefighters from Luxembourg City and Hesperange extinguished the blaze. Only material damage was reported.
