Emergency services were kept busy on Wednesday morning, responding to four separate road accidents across Luxembourg in which one person was injured in each case. The incidents, which occurred within the space of just two hours, involved two motorcyclists, a cyclist, and a pedestrian.

The first accident took place at 8.07am in Merl, where a car struck a motorcyclist on Route de Longwy. Paramedics and firefighters from Luxembourg City attended the scene to provide assistance to the injured rider.

Half an hour later, a similar incident occurred on Route d’Esch in Esch-sur-Alzette. Emergency teams from the Sanem-Differdange operational centre were deployed after a car collided with a motorcyclist, resulting in injuries.

Shortly after 9am, a cyclist was struck by a car on Grand-Rue in Vianden. Local paramedics and firefighters provided care to the injured cyclist at the scene.

At around 10am, a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car on Route de Bascharage in Niederkorn. The incident prompted a response from the emergency services and ambulance teams from Esch, as well as firefighters from the Sanem-Differdange centre.
