Early on Monday morning, Luxembourg police received information from their Belgian counterparts that a person had been kidnapped in the Antwerp area and that the suspects’ vehicle was travelling in the border region. Shortly afterwards, police located the car at Aire de Capellen service station, along with the victim and four suspects.
According to initial information, the victim and the suspects knew each other. On the instructions of the public prosecutor’s office, the four individuals were arrested and were due to appear before the examining magistrate on Monday.
