A field caught fire in Biwer at around 5.00pm on Neie Wee, according to reports. Although details are scarce, three people are said to have suffered injuries in the incident. Local fire fighters were supported by colleagues from Mertert, Flaxweiler, Manternach and Mensdorf.
At around 7.50pm, a fire broke out at a block of flats on Rue de la Vallée, Dudelange, leaving one person injured. The incident required several fire brigades from the surrounding area, with support coming from as far as the capital.
