Emergency services were called to a series of accidents on Luxembourg’s roads on Tuesday evening.
In Esch, at around 5.20pm, a car struck a pedestrian on Rue Clair-Chêne. The Esch SAMU, firefighters from Esch, and ambulance crews from the Sanem-Differdange operational centre responded to the scene.
Later, at 6.33pm, a car crashed into a tree on Rue de la Grotte in Mensdorf. Firefighters from Mensdorf and ambulance crews from Junglinster attended to one person who was injured in the incident.
Only a few minutes later, a collision involving a bus and a car occurred on the RN11 between Lauterborn and Echternach. Four people sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency responders from Echternach, as well as ambulance crews from Echternach, Mertert, and Larochette, were dispatched to assist.
At 7.43pm, another incident took place on the RN31 between Käerjeng and Pétange, where a car hit a motorcycle. Firefighters from Käerjeng and Pétange, along with ambulance staff from Pétange, were on site to care for the injured motorcyclist.
