Emergency services crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident at around 7 pm on Sunday evening.
Shortly before 6.30 pm, a car had crashed between Mertert and Schäferrieder, resulting in injuries to one person, while another was treated for minor injuries.
A fire broke out at 5.45 pm on Sunday evening in Bergem in the Grand-Rue, as an annex of a single-family house had caught alight.
The Mondercange and Kayl firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before any injury or significant damage was caused.
