A series of traffic incidents took place on Monday afternoon, leaving four people with injuries.

In Esch-sur-Alzette, two people suffered injuries after a two-car collision on Boulevard Charles de Gaulle around 4.35pm. Two local ambulances were assisted by fire fighters at the scene.

At 4.45pm several cars were involved in a pile-up on the A3 towards the Croix de Gasperich. Just one person was injured as a result. Bettembourg ambulance and fire crews were supported by a team of fire fighters from Roeser.

A third crash took place on the N35 between Helfent and Bertrange at around 7.40pm, injuring one person. Bertrange fire fighters were joined by an ambulance from the capital when dealing with the aftermath of the incident.
