Four people were taken to the hospital following three road accidents across the Grand Duchy on Saturday evening and in the early hours of Sunday.

At around 4.10am on Sunday, a car swerved off the road on the CR357 between Eppeldorf and Beaufort. The Ettelbruck emergency medical services, the Beaufort emergency response team and an ambulance from Larochette were dispatched to the scene to assist an injured person. The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has not released any further information on the individual’s condition.

Earlier in the evening, at around 7pm, two cars were involved in a collision on Route de Longwy (N5) in Merl. Firefighters from Luxembourg City and the emergency medical services attended the scene and transported one injured person to the hospital.

Another accident occurred at approximately 5.30pm on the CR129 between Junglinster and Rodenbourg. Two people were injured and received treatment from the Junglinster emergency services, with support from an ambulance dispatched from Luxembourg City.
