
According to a communiqué by the Luxembourg prosecution service, there were three perpetrators in each case, who did not hesitate to use violence got away with jewellery, money and mobile phones.
The police, in cooperation with international colleagues as well as the examining magistrate's office and the prosecution service, were able to identify three persons of interest, who travelled from across the border each time to rob the sex workers and their clients.
The three perpetrators were eventually caught at a Luxembourg City apartment, and a car and two guns were seized.
All three were remanded in custody by order of the examining magistrate. During searches abroad, two further cars and a number of stolen objects were retrieved.
