Former Minister for the Environment Carole Dieschbourg was questioned by judicial police as part of the preliminary investigation launched in the aftermath of the ‘Garden Shed Affair.’ This was reported on Wednesday by Radio 100,7.
According to Radio 100,7, Dieschbourg’s appointment was last week. It is now up to the public prosecutor’s office to determine whether to conduct a judicial investigation or dismiss the matter.
Carole Dieschbourg resigned as Minister for the Environment in April 2022, following a controversy over a shed owned by former Differdange mayor Roberto Traversini.
The law in question was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies alongside a resolution about a month ago. The law allowed the former minister to testify.
