RTL Today
Five people had their licences taken away for driving whilst intoxicated on Thursday, say police.

Police stopped a car for suspicious driving between Koerich and Habscht at around 9.25pm. The man was visibly intoxicated and received a provisional driving ban on top of losing his licence.

Another motorist was pulled over for dangerous driving on the A3 motorway at 6.25pm.

In Dudelange, police found a man asleep with his head on the steering wheel and the car door wide open at around 3.10pm, while officers in Diekirch stopped a motorcyclist on Rue du Pont for not wearing a helmet. He was also found to have an invalid licence and had his vehicle seized as a consequence.

At around 6.15am, a police patrol stopped a visibly intoxicated motorist and confiscated his licence, again in Diekirch.
