The first accident was reported at around 5.30pm, when two cars collided on the A6 motorway to Luxembourg City. One person was injured.
Shortly afterwards at around 5.50pm, two more cars were involved in a crash in Contern, which left one person injured.
Another accident occured in Gostingen, where a car and a motorcycle failed to get past each other at around 8pm. One injured person was reported.
Two further car collisions were reported on the A3 motorway at around 11pm and on the A13 motorway near Frisange at 1.15am. Both accidents resulted in one person injured.
