Emergency services were called to four road accidents across Luxembourg on Wednesday, which have left a number of people injured throughout the day.

Shortly before 7am, a person was struck and injured by a car on the Route du Vin in Bech-Kleinmacher. Rescue teams from Schengen, Remich and Luxembourg City attended the scene.

Shortly after 11am, a second incident occurred near Findel airport, where two vehicles collided, leaving one person injured. Local rescue teams were dispatched.

At around noon, Luxembourg City rescue teams were called to the A1 motorway between the Cents Tunnel and Kirchberg, where one person was injured in a further collision.

The final incident of the day came at around 6.45pm, when two vehicles collided on Avenue de l'Europe in Rollingen. Two people were injured and were attended to by rescue teams from Pétange and Sanem-Differdange.
