According to the police, two of these incidents also led to accidents. In Beaufort, a man drove his car into a ditch at around 8 pm on Friday evening. Following the crash, the man exited his car, and pushed over a traffic sign before walking away. While he was not injured in the crash, an alcohol test later revealed that he had double the legal amount of alcohol in his blood.

In Dudelange, a driver crashed into a traffic island so hard, that his front axle was completely bend, immobilising his vehicle. The man was not injured but turned out to be intoxicated.

In both cases, police confiscated their respective driving licences.

At around midnight, a man drove into a speed trap on Boulevard de Kockelscheuer at 116 instead of the legal 70 km/h. His driving licence was confiscated.

At about 2.30 am, a police patrol noticed a car that was stationed in the middle of a park. The vehicle's engine was on and the driver was sleeping behind the wheel. The alcohol test came back positive, and the police confiscated the man's licence on the spot.

The final incident occurred on Route d'Arlon in Strassen at around 3.30 am. Police found a car stationed in the middle of the road with the engine running. During the check, it turned out that the car was not properly registered, and that the driver was unable to present any of the necessary documents. The car was also fitted with old summer tyres. In addition, the officers noticed a distinct smell of alcohol, and after a positive alcohol test was added to the overall list of offences, the driver had to hand over his driving licence.
