
Luxembourg’s emergency services responded to a series of five separate road accidents on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a total of six people being injured.
The incidents began at noon with a two-vehicle collision on Route Principale in Bereldange, which left one person injured and required hospital transport. Firefighters from Steinsel and paramedics from Luxembourg City attended the scene.
Simultaneously, in the north of the country, the driver of a quad bike was injured in a crash on Route de Michelau in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre. The individual was transported to the Centre Hospitalier du Nord (ChdN) in Ettelbruck by an Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU), with support from Ingeldorf firefighters.
The series of collisions continued at 1pm in Assel, where a crash between two cars resulted in one injury. Emergency crews from Remich and Dudelange transported the individual to a hospital.
Shortly before 3pm, another two-vehicle collision on Rue Philippart in Rodange left one person injured, who was subsequently taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The final incident occurred just after 3pm on the A4 motorway near Pontpierre, heading towards Esch-sur-Alzette. A collision between two cars resulted in two people being injured, with emergency services from Esch, Mondercange, and Schifflange all responding to the scene.
