At around 6.20pm, the firefighters were called to Esch-sur-Alzette on Rue de l’Ecole because a deep fryer had caught fire. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene as one person had been reportedly injured.

At around 7pm, a chimney caught fire on Kehmen’s main road, in the north of the Grand Duchy. Firefighters from the Bourscheid fire station were dispatched, as well as emergency responders from Nordstad. However, no injuries were reported.
