BettembourgFire fighters prevent house from burning down
On Wednesday morning, the emergency services intervened in Bettembourg after receiving reports of a thick cloud of smoke coming from a house.
Smoke was spotted coming from the roof area as early as 7.45am. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), the fire started due to waste catching fire inside the house.
The road had to be temporarily closed. No one was injured in the fire. The fire brigades from Bettembourg, Roser, and Dudelange as well as an ambulance were on the scene.
