A fire broke out in a building on Millewee in Walferdange, where construction work was ongoing at the time.
Initial investigations suggest the blaze started during the course of the work with construction workers still inside the building.
According to emergency services, no injuries have been reported. Around 20 firefighters attended the scene and were able to bring the fire quickly under control.
The road remains closed in part due to the ongoing construction work.
