Regarding environmental requirements, the association advises farmers to keep an eye out for the numerous changes coming in the near future.

In a statement published on Wednesday, the Luxembourg Farmers Association said that these changes will "impact the day-to-day life of farmers", who nevertheless require "planning security".

Minister of Agriculture Romain Schneider has the responsibility to implement the European directive in Luxembourg. The Farmers Association urges the Minister to "apply common sense", stressing the importance of "finding the right balance" to ensure that farmers will still be able to "feed their families under adequate conditions".
