
The most serious accident occurred around 2.45pm on the N14 between Weydig and the hamlet of Boudlerbach, where a car crashed into a tree along the roadside. Local emergency crews were assisted at the scene by the Air Ambulance. No details were published on the person's condition.
In Olm, the Luxembourg emergency medical service (SAMU) was also called out around 4pm for a similar type of accident. One person was hospitalised after their vehicle crashed into a tree on the CR109.
Two other people were injured in two collisions, one in the village of Nothum around 2.50pm and the other on the A1 motorway around 3.40pm, following a collision between the Irrgärtchen roundabout and the Howald tunnel, heading towards the Gasperich interchange. Another person was also injured in a collision between two cars at the same location on the A1, about an hour earlier.
Firefighters from Mamer and Mondercange rescued an injured person around 4.10pm following a collision between two vehicles on the Arlon motorway, near Bridel.
