PoliceE-scooter rider injured in Wormeldange after exceeding legal speed limit

A rider was taken to hospital after losing control of his e-scooter on Rue Principale on Sunday morning, with police finding that the vehicle could travel well above the legal limit.
Many e-scooters currently on the road are able to travel faster than what is legally permitted.

Police were alerted at around 11.40am on Sunday after an accident involving an e-scooter on Rue Principale in Wormeldange. According to initial information, the rider lost control of his machine and fell. He was injured and had to be taken to hospital.

Officers found that the e-scooter could go considerably faster than legally permitted. The rider left the vehicle behind and a report was filed.

Two injured on Monday morning

Shortly before 8am, a crash occurred at Val Ste Croix in Strassen, leaving one person injured.

Just after 9am, two cars collided on Allée John W. Leonard in Mersch, where one person was also injured.
