According to information from the Lycée Nic Biever managing staff, the teacher had had sexual relations with an adult student, and had also contacted a second pupil with the intention of starting a similar relationship.
The Ministry of Education said the case was “extremely serious” and considered it “inadmissible for a teacher to remain in public service after committing such acts.”
The authorities have launched the first steps of a contract termination procedure targeting the educator in question.
