According to the airline, the De Havilland Q400 with registration number LX-LGG safely returned to Findel. Passengers on board were also informed by the captain and crew that their safety was not at risk.
To ensure that the passengers still reached their destination in Dublin on Friday, Luxair arranged for another flight in the afternoon.
Luxair also emphasized that, while they strive to prevent such disruptions, the safety of passengers and crew takes priority, which can sometimes lead to these unforeseen incidents.
