The police caught the first driver around 6 p.m. in Gonderange. The person was fined for driving under the influence of alcohol, but allowed to keep their license.
The second incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in Ettelbruck. A drunk driver first crashed into a road sign, then into a roundabout near rue de Warken, before fleeing the scene of the accident. The police was able to identify the culprit. The driving license was revoked following a positive alcohol test.
