In Clausen a driver crashed into a police car at around 3.30am, causing material damage. He was found to be over the legal alcohol limit and had his licence taken away. No one was injured in the incident.

Earlier in the night police came across a cyclist in Limpertsberg who had taken a tumble off his bike after consuming too much alcohol. He also had his licence confiscated and was taken to hospital for a check up.

Another police patrol found a driver struggling to control his vehicle when leaving a car park in Luxembourg City. Officers stopped the man after he almost collided with the police car; however, he refused to undergo a breathalyser test and consequently was made to hand over his licence.

On the A7 motorway, police stopped a driver who was weaving across the road. However, she also refused a breathalyser test, and had both her licence and vehicle taken away.

At around 5am on Thursday morning officers stopped yet another driver in Hollerich for suspicious driving. A check revealed he was intoxicated, leading to the loss of his licence.
