The police reported two separate interventions on Tuesday afternoon, one involving a suspected drug deal in Pétange and another concerning a disturbance at Ettelbruck railway station.

In its latest bulletin, Luxembourg police reported two separate incidents that took place on Tuesday afternoon.

The first occurred in Pétange, where a patrol on Route de Luxembourg observed an exchange between two individuals and suspected a drug transaction. Officers proceeded to check the suspects. A search revealed that one was carrying cannabis, while the other was in possession of cash, a joint, and a pair of brass knuckles.

Acting on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, police also searched the second individual’s home. There, they discovered additional narcotics, a blank cartridge pistol, and a large knife. All items were seized and a report was filed.

The second incident unfolded at Ettelbruck railway station. Following reports of a person causing a disturbance, officers despatched to the scene found an individual who was visibly intoxicated. Due to their state and the disruption caused, the person was taken for a medical evaluation and subsequently placed in temporary detention.
