UpdateDriver succumbs to injuries after serious accident near Hesperange
A one-car accident occurred on CR226 this Monday afternoon. The driver was on their way from Itzig to Contern around 2pm, when they suddenly lost control of their vehicle.

Only one car was involved in the accident, which occurred near the recycling center of Hesperange. The driver, who was driving in the direction of Contern, lost control of their vehicle before hitting several trees on the left side and ending up in a head-on collision with a third tree.
Due to the violence of the impact, it took firefighters more than an hour to extricate the victim, who was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
