The emergency services attended a number of incidents on Friday morning.

At around 8.40am a car collided with a tree on the CR126 between Stafelter and Walferdange. Emergency teams had to cut a person out of the wreckage. Ettelbruck paramedics were joined on the scene by an ambulance from Mersch and fire fighters from Niederanven/Schuttrange, as well as Lintgen and Lorentzweiler.

Another person was injured when two cars collided near Contern at 7.10am.

Finally, a pedestrian was knocked down by a car on rue Edward Steichen in Luxembourg City at 5.45am. They sustained injuries as a result.
