A driver on rue de Luxembourg turned left to enter the motorway. At the same time, a car coming from the direction of Gasperich entered the motorway.
The driver coming from Gasperich did not have right of way at this junction, but continued regardless, consequently crashing into the other driver, whose vehicle was thrown against the safety barriers.
At first, the culprit stopped a few metres from the scene of the crash. He soon set off again in the direction of Luxembourg City, seemingly unconcerned about the state of health of the driver of the other car. In the meantime, several vehicles had stopped to help the victim of the crash, whose car could no longer be repaired as a result of the major impact.
Police are now looking for three drivers who stopped to help, and any other witnesses at the scene who could provide more details about the driver of the car coming from Gasperich, whose vehicle is reportedly black.
